There are a few summer traditions we hold dear here at Who What Wear’s West Coast office, but the one we probably look forward to the most is the annual return of Street Style Cinema, our free series of movie screenings at The Grove. Every Thursday in June, Who What Wear and Clique invite readers to join us outside on the lawn to watch some of our favorite modern musicals, sip cocktails, enjoy light bites, listen to music and snag cool giveaways.
This year, my team and I wanted to put a new spin on our branding, and make a big splash around The Grove. With our movie selections centering around movies with amazing soundtracks, we wanted to borrow the old school, 90s aesthetic from some of our favorites– Empire Records, or Almost Famous to name a few. My talent teammate, Erin Pedersen pulled together this energetic branding, in addition to producing and shooting gorgeous campaign imagery. We had a blast creating assets to be promote and be displayed at the events.
