College Fashionista is a Gen Z, community-based brand that thrives on impacting the youth and helping them gain confidence during a transformational period of their life. College Fashionista became part of the Clique Brands portfolio during my time there and I had the pleasure of working on the rebrand and art directing for editorial content, experiential and brand partnerships.

The Logo.

Upon joining Clique Brands, we were looking to update the branding to fit within the portfolio of other brands– to modernize it and to make it more legible at smaller sizes. We looked at building an icon to use across all asset types, and drew upon College Fashionista’s nickname, CF, to build the brand around. We created a few different versions to flex into different layouts easily.

The Brand.

Building the art direction was an easier endeavor, we drew from our community members and what they were sharing. We wanted the color story to feel both nostalgic to the original College Fashionista logo, and feel somewhat collegiate. As an editorial brand, this board served as a toolbox to design against, where we were less strict with brand guidelines.
